Explore the wonders of watercolor and learn the fundamental techniques of this exciting medium. This is a beginning-to-intermediate watercolor class intended to introduce students to the medium and also introduce advanced techniques. Basic class lessons and demonstrations will help you feel comfortable as you create a painting. The instructor will describe in detail the basic materials used and the three stages that make up a watercolor painting. You will also learn brush techniques, mixing colors, value studies, and discuss initial drawing techniques.

The workshop will consist of three two-hour classes.  Days and Hours are Saturdays, 10:00 – 12:00 at Art’s House, 127 N. Main, River Falls, WI. Classes start on June 11 and run three consecutive weeks. The cost for entire class is $75 for members and $85 for nonmembers. Essential watercolor supplies will be provided.
