The River Falls Public Library wants to create fabric bags for the booth at Earthfest which is On April 20. Library staff person Alice Olson is in charge of this project. You can help in many ways.
1. Register for a bag-sewing class the library will offer on February 22.
2. Donate fabric. They want heavy cotton or cotton-blend non-stretchy fabric. Here is your chance to get rid of fabric that you know you will never use and it is just taking up space.
3. Sew the bags at home without taking the class. The library will have fabric and patterns available on a table at some time in the future in the library so you can go into the library and get the fabric and trace the pattern. Then you can sew the bags at home at your leisure.
Sounds like fun! If you like to sew, please consider participating in this project.
