Margreth Downing has been a part of the Pierce/ St. Croix Art Scene for the past 50 years. My art serves an audience of kids and those who are kids at heart. Most of my work is Acrylic on Canvas and ranges in size from "11x14' to "48x60".

I enjoy doing open- air painting around the St. Croix and Kinnic Rivers. The frequent theme of my painting centers around the North Wood's Council which is a group of wild representatives who serve to protect the interests of their constituents in the North Woods.
