Watercolor has been my passion since I retired from teaching first grade at Greenwood Elementary, River Falls, Wi. I enjoy painting a variety of subjects including old barns, birds, and any subject that brings me joy.

I am a Minneapolis based visual artist originally from River Falls. I mostly use acrylic paints and ink on wood and canvas.

Although I seek out representational subjects, I am drawn increasingly to a more abstract, emotional interpretation. I paint intuitively, and as the dance between representation and abstraction unfolds, I guide the play between the two.
